Get into the 3D world with Maxon Cinema 4D
Creating 3D environments on your computer holds a fascination that not many other things do. As opposed to flat 2D images, images in 3D look like you could walk right into them, giving them an amazingly real look. Today, our graphic design instructor Aram will give you a short introduction into the 3D world with Maxon Cinema 4D.
Creating 3D works with Maxon Cinema 4D
Cinema 4D turns any computer to 3D animation studio so you can build your own animation or imaginary environment.
Although there are some other well-known 3D programs such as Auto desk Maya and 3D Max, Cinema 4D is faster and maybe less complicated than the others, but still is a huge world and offers you what you need. You can make still images, motion graphics or animation. It also have been used in movies Spider-Man 3, War of the worlds, Tron: Legacy and may more.
Cinema 4D is also compatible with some CG programs such as Adobe After Effects, Photoshop. The work can be rendered in separated layers for postproduction in other programs. You can find more information on the Maxon Cinema 4D website.
Maxon Cinema 4D in Thailand
I will upload more information about Cinema 4D every month. Unfortunately I have found that this program is not really popular in Thailand and not too many professional people who can work with it. But recently I have met a great Thai art director who does amazing work with Cinema 4D. You can check his website here: http://www.omnivisions.net/OMNI/Welcome.html.
What you can do with it
To give you an impression what you can do with it, I have done this digital art modeling in Cinema 4D and postproduction in Adobe Photoshop.
