The Camillian Home is a registered non-profit children's charity operating on behalf of the St. Camillus Foundation of Thailand in the area of Lat Krabang, Bangkok. The orphaned children at the Camillian Home come from extremely poor circumstances. They have been referred to our Home through the Thai Social Welfare Department, whom we work closely with. Many of the children arrive with AIDS but with the proper care and nourishment have gone back to being HIV positive.

Father Giovanni Contarin, an Italian Padre, began his work with HIV/AIDS children in 1995 by establishing the Camillian Social Center Rayong The center is unique in its concept in that it addresses the issue of HIV/AIDS with a series of integrated activities. All the children are brought up in a family setting, have access to care and ARV'S and can look forward to a bright future.

Opened in 2008 as a new project of Fr. Giovanni, Camillian Home is a specially designed facility for children living with disabilities and HIV/AIDS. All of our children receive daily therapy, educational and life skill classes by our professionally trained staff. We provide an environment that encourages and aids the development of each child. Many of our orphaned children are not only disabled but also HIV positive. In addition to our orphanage, we provide a free day care service for children living with disabilities from the local area to help support needy families. This Center is designed to be a model for other institutions in all aspects of helping sick and disabled children.
